At Sleepy Steps, sleep coaching is not about quick fixes or rigid methods.

It’s about understanding what’s affecting your baby’s sleep and taking small, supportive steps toward better sleep.

2. Does sleep coaching mean leaving my baby to cry?

No, that is not the approach I use.

My work is based on a responsive, gentle approach, which means we continue to respond to your baby’s needs while gradually helping them build new sleep habits.

There is no one-size-fits-all method here.

We choose an approach that feels right for your baby and your parenting style.

3. Is my baby too young for sleep coaching?

That depends on your baby’s age and what kind of support you’re looking for.

For younger babies, the focus is often on:

• understanding sleep patterns

• creating a healthy sleep foundation

• building realistic routines

• supporting naps and bedtime

For older babies, we can often work more actively on improving sleep challenges.

That depends on your baby, the sleep challenges you’re facing, and the level of support you choose.

Some families notice small changes quite quickly. For others, progress happens more gradually.

Once you book, you’ll receive all the next steps by email.

Depending on the package you choose, this may include:

• an intake form

• Get you sleep plan

• Sleep onsultation to discuss sleep plan

• Ongoing support via WhatsApp and follow-up

Everything is designed to feel clear and manageable, so you know exactly what to expect.

8. Do I need to be “ready” before starting?

Not at all.

Many parents come to sleep coaching feeling tired, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start, and that’s completely okay.

You do not need to have everything figured out before reaching out.

That’s exactly what I’m here to help you with.

9. What if I’ve already tried everything?

You are definitely not the only one who feels that way.

Many parents come to me after trying wake windows, schedules, routines, sleep advice online, or tips from friends and family.

Often, the missing piece is not effort, it’s clarity and personalization.

10. In which languages do you offer sleep coaching?

I offer support in Dutch, English and Spanish.

You can choose the language that feels most comfortable for you and your family.

I mainly support families with babies and young children from 0 to 6 years old, depending on the package and sleep situation. If you’re unsure whether your child falls within the age range I support, feel free to get in touch.
